What is SACK?
SACK is for every girl who is a registered Cadette or Senior Girl Scout in Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counties. They meet monthly to plan activities. Officers for the year are elected at the October meeting. Girls select committees they want to participate in.
SACK is an opportunity for girls to develop leadership skills and complete leadership requirements for the Silver and Gold Awards. It also fulfills the Gold Award requirement for being part of a girl planning board. Mentoring by peers and adults is a natural outcome of belonging to SACK. Girls in SACK have an opportunity to form and build relationships with girls throughout the council.
SACK can substitute as a troop meeting for troops that need added vitality. Adults may participate in discussions led by experienced trainers, request training, or take a break at the nearest mall!
No registration is needed.
Bring a pencil, paper and your ideas!
Run by SACK.
