Cost: $450.00, includes horseback riding,
whitewater rafting and Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors
Capacity: 30 minimum / 40 maximum girls

Do you enjoy swimming, hiking, riding horses, white water rafting, tubing, or just hanging out? How about an afternoon of shopping in the quaint town of Ashland, Oregon, followed by dinner and a play at their world-famous festival? This is an opportunity for you to have a week of doing what you want.
Fee includes transportation, lodging, food, all activities.
Treasure Island 2008
Who: Patrols/Troops of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides grades 8-12 (13 years and up). Minimum patrol size is 5 girls and 2 registered adults.
When: Sunday - Sunday, July 13 - 20
Time: 12:00 noon for check-in and check-out. Registered participants will be given more detailed information at a later date.
Where: Treasure Island, in the middle of San Francisco Bay
Cost: $250 per participant. Fee includes camping and program activities. Participants pay for the cost of travel to Treasure Island, food, and optional off-site activities.
Capacity: 1,200 minimum / 1,750 maximum

Please note: Treasure Island 2008 is designed as a patrol event. We encourage individually registered girls to work with others in their local area to build a patrol of a minimum of 5 girls and 2 adults to attend.

Girl Scouts Save the Bay: Amazing Bay Day

Where: San Francisco Piers and Docks around the Bay
Cost: $25 per participant
Capacity: 4,000 minimum / 6,000 maximum

Come experience the wonders of the San Francisco Bay by being on the Bay. Tall ships, small ships, cruise ships, research vessels, ferries, and yachts are poised to take you on a tour of this amazing body of water. Come join this fabulous All-Council event for hours of learning and fun.
Wet 'n Wild Rafting Adventure
Who: Girls grades 4-9, adult chaperones
When: Friday - Sunday, July 25 - 27
Time: Friday 8:00AM - Sunday 6:00PM
Where: Trinity River, Big Flat, CA
Cost: $120 per participant
Capacity: 30 minimum / 150 maximum

Please note: Confirmation packets will be mailed prior to the event. You will need to bring camping equipment and food. TCC trained adults must accompany girls.
Volunteer Positions Needed: First Aider
Drift away to where the moon shines bright by night and the sun glows by day. Enjoy two nights of tent camping on the banks of the Trinity River and a full day of rafting on class 2 & 3 rapids. When on land girls will enjoy stargazing, singing songs and campfire fun. It is sure to be a weekend to remember.

All girls at camp will be able to choose from a variety of fun camp activities along with their badge choice. Applications required for each camper, adult volunteer and tag.
For girls entering 2nd - 3rd grade
Discovery Camp: Discover the excitement of camp while earning a variety of Try-Its and enjoying the spirit of camp life. Girls will live in lean-tos with other girls their age.
For girls entering 4th through 6th grades
Choose one program.
Puzzles…Puzzles: Are you curious, creative and willing to explore? Test your brain power by solving and creating puzzles. Explore optical illusions and tangrams, create your own word search and crossword puzzles, play The Game of Nim and Picaria, and help your group complete their jigsaw puzzle challenge first, while earning the Puzzlers Badge.
Outdoor Explorer: Inspiration is all around us in the outdoors. Get inspired to be creative, artistic, as you explore the wonder of your surroundings. Learn safety and participate in fun activities as you earn your Outdoor Creativity Badge and parts of the Outdoor Fun Badge.
Creative Art: Discover the wonder of dances, songs, legends and crafts from around the world. Appreciate the inventive use of unconventional materials as you create your own piece of work. Celebrate your own International Festival Day as you earn the Folk Arts Badge.
For girls entering 6th grade
Konocti Girls Got Talent!: Visual and performing art awaits you as you discover your inner talent. Bring out your creativity through a series of dancing, drumming, singing, and playing the harmonica. Girls will earn the Performing Arts IP.
For girls entering 7th through 9th grades
Choose one program.
Konocti Chuck Wagon Culinary Academy Extreme Cooking: Who said eating outdoors had to be uneventful? Come learn what it takes to start your own business, create a masterpiece of food, sharpen your tools and challenge yourself by exploring new and old time cuisines. Come find out what it takes to cook like a Chef, from Dirt to Donuts while you earn the Creative Cooking IP.
Pampered Campers: Discover your inner beauty from the inside out with focus on skin care, hairstyle, fitness and relaxation. We will work together to pamper and appreciate ourselves while camping in the great outdoors and earning a council's own IP. Rough and Tough: Get strong and confident as you learn some new skills. You will strengthen your mind and body. As we kayak, hike and learn martial arts. We will also have a beach work out, GI Jane style and then relax afterwards by shopping in Mendocino. We will work on team building exercises, nutrition, and stress reduction for an overall self improvement as well as having fun and earning the Women's Health IP.
Adult Camp Staff
Kamp Konocti is run by volunteers, from program to the kitchen to supervising girls living in a camp setting. You can participate in the excitement of camp, while making a big difference to many girls. There is no camp fee for adult staff volunteers. Kamp Konocti wouldn't be complete without your talents and enthusiasm. Application available by clicking here.
Tag Unit - Limited Space
There will be a tag unit for boys and non-camper girls ages 3-6. Adults who wish to volunteer in the kitchen and have their children in this program will be interviewed with their children present. Tag fee is $150.
Jewel of a Woman 2008

Every year since 1992, Girl Scouts of Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino have hosted the Jewel of a Woman event to honor women selected for their outstanding community service. The 2008 Jewel awardee will be announced after her selection.
This is Girl Scouts of Northern California's primary fundraiser for Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino Counties. Please consider supporting this event:

Wildlife Badge Overnight at the Oakland Zoo
Who: Girls grades 3-6
When: Monday - Tuesday, November 10 - 11
Time: 7:00PM - 9:45AM
Where: Oakland Zoo
Cost: $55 per participant. One adult chaperone is required for every eight children.
Capacity: 10 minimum / 70 maximum

Come to the zoo and become a true wildlife biologist. Learn about researching in the field, and do a bit of research yourself! Meet one of our education animal ambassadors up close and learn about the tools it has to be successful in the wild. Explore the Zoo at night, enjoy a late night snack, play a game, and snuggle down in the comfort of our Education Center. Enjoy a tasty continental breakfast before heading out into the zoo for a private tour to continue our field research. You'll complete all of the requirements necessary to earn your Wildlife Badge while having the time of your life on this exciting overnight.
