Event Director Training Cost: $10.00
Appropriate for: Troop volunteers, leaders, assistant leaders and advisors
Prerequisites: Orientation
Are you planning events and activities for your Service Unit or Council? Then this training is for you. In order to run an event for multiple troops Event Director Training is required. You will learn about event planning, required paperwork, program planning, scheduling, budgeting guidelines and more.
Day Camp Director - 7 Hours

Day Camp Director Training Cost: $3.00
Appropriate for: Adult volunteers planning to direct a Resident Camp or Day Camp
Prerequisites: BLT
Planning a summer day camp? Do you know all the necessary steps for running a large day camp? This course is designed to give you that information. You will learn the difference between day camp and resident camp, the rules about running a camp, the necessary safety standards, and much, much more. This training should be taken a minimum of 6 months before the camp. Contact the Program Specialist at 524-9204 or abehrens@konoctigirlscouts.org to put your day camp on the Council calendar.
