Service Unit Director Training Cost: $3.00 Pre-requisite: SUD Orientation, contact Joey Riggins 524-9207 or jriggins@konoctigirlscouts.org for Orientation This two-part training is required for all new Service Unit Directors. Part 1 covers the expectations of the position, effective communication tools, council staff recourses, conflict resolution procedures, delegation techniques, recruiting and building the service unit team and volunteer management strategies. Participants will leave this training with the resources and tools necessary to be successful in their position as Service Unit Directors. Part 2 is designed as a planning meeting where participants will use their Service Unit demographics to set goals and develop a plan of work for the year. Topics covered include membership and population statistics, adult recognitions and incentives, annual giving campaigns, motivation techniques and volunteer personnel policies. |

Adult Recognitions Training Cost: $3.00 Appropriate for: Leaders, assistant leaders, advisors and service unit team members interested in recognizing adults Learn about all the formal adult recognitions available at the service unit and council level. Also share great ideas on how to say thanks to those who help your troop be successful. |

Service Unit Delegate Training Cost: $3.00 Appropriate for: Leaders, assistant leaders, advisors and service unit team members who have been elected as a SU Delegate or are SU Directors Mandatory training for all new service unit delegates to the GS Nor Cal - Konocti Council Board of Directors or those considering the position. |
