Girl Scout Troop Field Trips
Forms that May Be Needed:
- Parent Permission form
- Health History form
- Driver Information form
- Vehicle Assignment Form
- Troop Trip Application
These forms are available on the Forms page at www.konoctigirlscouts.org or at your local service center. For more extensive trips, call for more information.
Emergency Contact
When you are going on a field trip, you need to have one person at home who has all of the information about the trip as well a copy of a Vehicle Assignment form. Then, in case of an emergency, they can be the communication link between parents and the girls. This person’s phone number should be on the Parent Permission form.
Plan, Plan, Plan
Planning ahead is essential for Girl Scout field trips. Once a trip is planned, forms need to be given to the Girls, completed, and brought back to the leader. This can take weeks depending on your meeting schedule. Also, with busy schedules, the sooner you know the date of a field trip, the better it is to let families know.
