Support Girl Scouts of Northern California - Konocti Area through
Ink Cartridge and Cell Phone Recycling

Did you know that Girl Scouts of Konocti Council has a great recycling program that not only helps our environment but also earns money for the Council?

What Are We Doing?

Did you know that your old cell phone and the ink cartridge in your computer printer can be recycled? Well they can, but unfortunately most are not. In fact, over 500 million old cell phones and empty cartridges find their way into our nations landfills every year. We as Girl Scouts would like to do our part to change that.

How Can You Help?

It’s easy to do. Take that old cell phone out of the drawer and when it is time to replace that cartridge, don’t throw them away - recycle them. The council receives a check for cell phones and ink cartridges that can be recycled. It is a great way for the council to earn extra funds!!! It’s that easy to help reduce solid waste in our landfills and earn money for the council!
